Why Merino Wool?
100% natural, renewable and biodegradable, Australian Merino wool is famous worldwide for its unique properties
-
100% natural
Merino wool is grown year round by Australia's 68 million sheep consuming a blend of air, water, sunshine and grass.
-
100% renewable
Every year our sheep produce a new fleece.
-
100% biodegradable
When wool is disposed of, it will naturally decompose, slowly releasing nutrients back into the earth.
-
Naturally breathable
Merino wool is one of the most breathable fibres, and can wick moisture away to evaporate into the air.
-
Regulates temperature
Merino wool is able to react to body temperature, unlike synthetics, and can keep you warm in winter, or cool in summer.
-
Soft on skin
Merino fibres are extremely fine, and bend much more than coarser wool, making them suitable for next to skin garments.
-
Odour resistant
Merino wool absorbs moisture vapour aways from the body, and locks up odour molecules, which are only released on washing.
-
Easy care
Our Merino wool pyjamas can be machine washed.
-
Fire resistant
Merino wool is naturally fire resistant. Cotton will catch fire at 255 degrees celcius, whereas wool dosn't ignite until it reaches 570-600 degrees. It wont melt on the skin, unlike synthetics
